Pacific Operators Offshore, LLC (PACOPS) was founded in 1991 to operate Federal Lease OCS 0166 after the purchase by Carone Petroleum from Phillips Petroleum and partners. The lease contains a significant portion of the Carpinteria field in the offshore Santa Barbara Channel. Upon acquisition of the lease, Phillips Petroleum employees were hired to staff PACOPS, in addition to hiring other expertise in the industry.
PACOPS has successfully operated two platforms, four 6.8 mile pipelines, and an onshore facility to process the produced oil, water and gas for the past 26 years without disruptions. To date, the company continues this smooth operation primarily due to loyal top-notch employees and a good training program.
PACOPS promotes safe and economical operations to ensure efficiency while operating in an environmentally sensitive atmosphere.
